Incorporating elements from improvised, electroacoustic and theatrical music, "twice as if" (Sara Constant & An-Larence Higgins) focuses on new directions in contemporary chamber music—using flute, guitar, and electronics as the basis for sound experiments.
"twice as if" is built on values-based, experimental concert programming: searching for new sonic possibilities while challenging the structures and histories of oppression present within the classical music field.

The Paramorph Collective is formed of early-career musicians/multidisciplinary artists Kim Farris-Manning and An-Laurence Higgins, based respectively in Ottawa and Montréal. As long-term collaborators, they have developed a dynamic creation process for works of sound, poetry, performance and visual media. The participatory 24 minute-long visual, poetic and sonic work “Suddenly I was alone / d’un tratto ero sola” created in collaboration with and produced by the Sing the North virtual choir in 2021 is their most recent project.
