Incorporating elements from improvised,
electroacoustic and theatrical music, "alokori"
(Sara Constant & An-Larence Higgins) focuses on new directions in contemporary chamber
music—using flute, guitar, and electronics as the basis for sound experiments.
"alokori" is built on values-based, experimental concert programming:
searching for new sonic possibilities while challenging the structures and histories of
oppression present within the classical music field.

The Paramorph Collective is formed of early-career musicians and multidisciplinary
artists An Laurence (Montreal) and Kim Farris-Manning (Ottawa).
As long-term collaborators, they have developed a dynamic creation process
for works of sound, poetry, performance and visual media. They are the creators
of the experimental video-opera “til death do us” (2021) and the participatory virtual
choir multimedia piece “suddenly I was alone / d’un tratto ero sola” (2021).
